AMBASSADOR OTEL
A RENEWAL SUITABLE TO THE SPIRIT OF THE AGE
Interior architecture and decoration renewal project of a boutique hotel in Sultanahmet, Istanbul in accordance with the spirit of the age.
With spatial and structural interventions, maximum advantage and comfort places are created in minimum area inside the hotel. Complicated structural, environmental and service problems are solved. Considering the feeling and approaches of the guests, a warm, cozy and comfortable decoration, atmosphere is intended. Warmth of milling walnut wood not straining the eyes, tone-on-tone beige-grey tones in different planes and textures, daylights are used.

PERCEPTION OF SINCERITY AND COMFORT
Three different places perceived is created inside one area in the lobby; entrance hall, reception and bar-recreation site. Two different materials used in the floor, porcelain ceramic and solid parquet, transparent smoke-colored glass separation dividing the bar-recreation area are the main elements creating this perception.
FUNCTION IN THE NARROW PLACES
Bar and servant offering practical solutions in the food service area having a limited place is designed in a manner to provide multifunctional use. Food area is decorated by providing the dominance of the same materials, textures and beige-grey tones such that it will be perceived as the spatial continuing part of the lobby floor.
SILHOUETTE OF ISTANBUL
We know that all of the hotel guests are the foreigners coming to Turkey from abroad to discover Istanbul. We use the silhouette, symbolic for providing them to be aware of the fact that they are in Istanbul and to refresh their excitement while they spend their time in the room, as the main theme of the room decoration.
